Head of Polish diplomacy attended Foreign Affairs Council

Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau took part in another Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) meeting.

The talks among EU ministers of foreign affairs focused on possibilities of support for Ukraine, also in military terms, in its fight with the Russian aggressor. The heads of diplomacy discussed as well the reconstruction of Ukraine once the war operations are over and the preparations for the EU-UA summit scheduled for 3 February.

The Council’s agenda included the situation in the Sahel.

On the sidelines of the Foreign Affairs Council, the EU foreign ministers attended a meeting with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh in order to speak about the Middle East peace process and the EU-Palestine relations.
