Polska Food Festival 2020

This year, due to the extraordinary circumstances, the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the EU is organizing the Polska Food Festival in a different way. The 2018 and 2019 editions’ format, which combined a traditional Christmas market with concerts and winter-themed workshops for children, had to be modified. The elegant Christmas baskets filled with gastronomic delights are instead being offered in our 2020 edition.
Each edition of the Polska Food Festival was inaugurated by our Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. On the margins of last week's European Council, carefully selected most characteristic products from various parts of Poland were handed over to the European leaders, top diplomats and high-ranking representatives of the European institutions.
The event aims to promote Polish cuisine and culinary traditions. The idea to intensify the promotion of Poland’s finest food and beverages in Brussels was a result of a strong conviction that Polish cuisine deserves more international recognition.
The festival has always enjoyed great interest within the Brussels community and has become a highlight in the calendar of cultural events in the Belgian capital.
