Video conference of EU economics and finance ministers

During an informal video conference, ministers exchanged views with the European Commission on the Europe's recovery after the COVID-19 crisis. Poland was represented by the Minister of Finance Tadeusz Kościński.
"Europe needs comprehensive actions that will cover areas that require investments and reforms, such as energy, health care, education, agriculture, pharmacy and biotechnology" - emphasized the head of the Ministry of Finance.
During the video conference, ministers also discussed the preparations of country-specific recommendations for this year's European Semester exercise. The recommendations provide policy guidance tailored to each EU member state on how to boost jobs and growth, while maintaining sound public finances.
