Video conference of ministers for European Affairs

The discussion on the future multiannual financial framework and the recovery instrument, as well as the presentation of the priorities of the German presidency were the most important topics of the discussion at the meeting of ministers for European affairs. Poland was represented by the Minister for European Union Konrad Szymański.
Ministers exchanged views on the overall balance and political feasibility of the proposal, focusing on their main priorities ahead of the upcoming European Council with pariticipation of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, which is scheduled for July 17.
In addition, the German Presidency presented its priorities for the next six months, highlighting the importance of issues such as economic recovery after the COVID-19 crisis, innovation, fair and sustainable development, as well as security issues and common EU values.
