"All of Europe is now coming together to defeat the coronavirus, which disorganizes functioning of our societies and prevents normal life on the continent," said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki after the video conference. "Together with other EU leaders today we have set an example of how we can minimize the risk of infection using modern technologies. Telework is a great thing - I am glad that we have included such a possibility in our special act in the face of the COVID 19 outbreak" PM emphasized.

The video conference chaired by European Council President Charles Michel was attended by 27 EU leaders, as well as the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell and the President of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde.
