The main topic of the meeting of EU leaders including Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki was the coordinated response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Heads of state and government focused on three topics: mutual recognition of testing, progress made on vaccines, and a common approach on the lifting of restrictive measures.

The leaders discussed also the current situation regarding the EU budget package.

The video conference comes as a follow-up to the outcome of the October 15-16 summit when leaders discussed EU-level coordination against Covid-19 and agreed to revert regularly to this matter.
