Webinar on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Weimar Triangle

"The strength of the EU depends on our unity and closer cooperation between all member states. To be effective globally, we must cooperate in a spirit of compromise. Each EU member state has certain sensitivities and we should take them into account" - said the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the EU Andrzej Sadoś during the speech opening the videoconference on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Weimar Triangle. In the official part, the Permanent Representatives of France and Germany - Philippe Leglise-Costa and Michael Clauss also delivered their welcome remarks.
The main topic of the webinar was the role of the European Union on the global stage from the perspective of Poland, France and Germany. The event was also attended by representatives of influential European think-tanks: Janis Emmanoulidis, Director of Studies, Center for European Policy, Genevieve Pons, General Director, Vice President Jacques Delors and Łukasz Jurczyszyn, Director of the Brussels office of the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM).
The Weimar Triangle is a forum for cooperation between Poland, France and Germany established in 1991.
