Combining childcare leave with work

During childcare leave, the employee is entitled to take up gainful employment with the previous or other employer, as well as other activity, education or training, if this does not exclude the possibility of taking personal care of the child.

Where it is established that the employee has permanently ceased to take personal care of a child, the employer shall summon the employee to report to work at a date specified by the employer, but no later than 30 days from the date on which the employee became aware of such information and no earlier than 3 days from the date of the call.
