04.04.2023New support allowance for persons with disabilities since 1 January 2024The Government adopted a draft act introducing a new support allowance for persons with disabilities. The allowance will amount from 50 to 200 percent of social pension. The act will enter into force on 1 January 2024. “The State’s strength is demonstrated by the way it cares of the most vulnerable ones” – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Their symbolic inception was introduction of the Family 500+ programme on 1 April 2016. – Providing support to the families on such a scale has never been considered, even in hopes and dreams. It seemed simply impossible. Yet the Government of Law and Justice introduced the programme of universal support for families with children under with more than 220 billion Polish Zlotys were paid within these 7 years – says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.
