30.06.2020Absolute poverty declines – new data published by the Central Statistical OfficeThe data published on Tuesday by the Central Statistical Office shows that the range of extreme poverty in Poland has decreased to 4.2 percent from 5.4 percent in 2018 - that is the best result since 2006, and a decline by over one fifth. The data shows that our social policy is effective and has a real effect on the quality of life of Polish citizens - says the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy Marlena Maląg. What is more important, the decline was noted in all social groups.

The ‘Disabled Person’s Personal Assistant’ programme addresses these needs. It is available to non-governmental organisations. The programme budget is PLN 80 million.
