The MF Working Papers series contains economic papers of scientific character, authored or co-authored by the Polish Ministry of Finance staff as well as contributions by authors from academic institutions, economists, interns and trainees, who co-operated with the Ministry of Finance and presented their own research results on the seminars organized by the Ministry. Preferrable topics of the papers concern macroeconomic and fiscal problems, integration with the euro area, public finance, state budget, taxes and tariffs, accounting, financial market regulations as well as management and informatization of public administration.

The Series aims to stimulate discussion as well as research development in scope of abovementioned problems. Of equal importance it would be to gain comments and suggestions on papers that would be helpful for the purpose of their future publication in reviewed journals.
