Poland in Kenya

On February 20 in Uganda, Ambassador Jacek Bazański took part in the inauguration of the maternity ward in Nyabyeya, which is a small grant project financed by Polish Aid.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi invites all interested Kenyan organizations to take part in a call for applications for projects implemented with the Polish Aid Small Grants scheme in 2022.

On December 2, in the garden of the residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, a concert by the Ghetto Classics Orchestra was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Visegrád Group, organized by the Embassies of the V4 countries.

On November 30, a ceremonial ending of the project under the "small grants": "Video conference center to facilitate cancer care in Kenya and East Africa" took place.

On December 16, the NAWA virtual educational fair for candidates from Africa will take place.

After almost two years of negotiations, two international agreements were signed between the government of the Republic of Poland and the United Nations Program for Human Settlements (UN Habitat) on the organization of the eleventh session of the World City Forum (WUF11) in Katowice.

On 11th November at the Muthaiga Country Club in Nairobi on the occasion of the National Independence Day, an exhibition about Poles in Africa in the years 1942-1952 was organized. The event was attended by the Polish community abroad, ambassadors of EU countries, and Kenyan friends.
