Dorota Zawadzka-Stępniak - President of the Management Board
Dorota Zawadzka-Stępniak is a graduate of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology and Postgraduate Studies in EU Funds Administration at the Warsaw School of Economics. Currently, the President of the Management Board of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
She has extensive experience in the field of environmental protection, climate change and energy policy, which she has successfully used in her professional work on managerial positions in public institutions, e.g. in the Ministry of Environment, the City Hall of Warsaw, as well as in private institutions, i.e. PwC and the Polish Confederation Lewiatan. Professionally involved with the NFEP&WM in 2014-2015, when she held the position of the Vice-President of the Management Board of the NFEP&WM and supervised activities related to financial support of climate and air protection projects.
She is a scholarship holder of the Prof. Maciej Nowicki’s Foundation Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt for the best graduates in the field of environmental protection, a graduate of the 29th School for Political Leaders and a graduate of the Game Changers Academy Master of Business Change - a comprehensive one-year leadership programme strengthening change management skills and managerial self-awareness.
