Józef Matysiak - Vice-President of the Management Board
Józef Matysiak graduated from the University of Warsaw, the Faculty of Management. He has completed many postgraduate studies: European Studies in Local Government Investment Financing (Warsaw School of Economics), Center for Local Government and Local Development Studies and Academy of Local Government Leaders (University of Warsaw), Real Estate Valuation (University of Warmia and Mazury), Higher Defense Course (National Defense University of Warsaw). Having successfully completed the state examination procedure, he is qualified to be a member of supervisory boards in the State Treasury companies.
Since 1990, he has been active in local government, initially as Chairman of the Cielądz and Regonow Municipal Councils. He was a Chairman of the Local Government Assembly in Skierniewice, member of the Board of the Union of Polish Counties, Vice President of the Board of the Association of Counties and Municipalities of the Bzura River Basin, and Vice President of the Rawa Mazowiecka County Branch of OSP. He held the position of the President of the Bank Spółdzielczy in Regonow (1988-1998), then the starost of the Starost’s Office in Rawa Mazowiecka (1998-2024).
Józef Matysik has experience in implementing investments, including the modernization of district roads, creating in Rawa Mazowiecka a subzone of the Łódź Special Economic Zone, the construction of an Operating Block and an Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit in the Rawa Mazowiecka Hospital, the construction of a Fire Station in Rawa Mazowiecka, the thermal modernization of the building complex of the Rawa Mazowiecka Hospital and the High School Complex in Biała Rawska. Additonally, the heating systems in the facilities run by the Rawski District were changed.
Decorated many times- among others- with the Gold Cross of Merit in appreciation for the outstanding contributions and work towards the Republic of Poland.
