The Priority Programme "My Water"
“My Water” programme is addressed to natural persons who are owners of properties with single-family buildings. Its objective is to minimise the effects of drought and limit the effects of heavy rainfall in Poland by increasing the level of retention on the premises through collecting and using water. The indirect objective is to relieve the burden on water supply and sewerage systems and increase the availability of water during hot periods.
The scope of support covers the purchase, assembly and launching of installations for:
- collect rainwater from impermeable surfaces of properties, i.e. from roofs, pavements, driveways;
- rainwater retention in tanks;
- retention of rainwater in the ground (e.g. unsealing of impermeable surfaces, absorption wells, drainage, rain gardens);
- rainwater retention in the drainage layer of green roofs;
- use of rainwater for domestic and agrarian purposes.
NFEP&WM funds are directed to Regional Environmental and Water Management (RE&WM), which operate the programme and direct the support to individuals.
