Ceremony of closing Polish V4 Presidency in Norway

On June 24, at the residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Oslo, the official ceremony of closing Polish presidency of the Visegrad Group in Norway took place.
In the ceremony participated Ambassadors of Czechia, Hungary and Slovakia accredited to the Kingdom of Norway and Laila Stenseng from the European and Trade Department in Norwegian MFA.
Ambassador I. Woicka-Żuławska summed up the Polish presidency of the Group, reminding the main slogan of the leadership "Back on track", three priority areas:
1. Economy and connectivity, 2. Security, 3. Society
and four goals of the presidency:
1. Strong V4 in a strong Europe - coordinating the actions of the V4 countries in the EU, 2. Returning to normality - fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences, 3 People-to-people contacts - strengthening integration and cohesion between V4 countries and societies and 4. Digital V4 - e-V4 - development of V4 cooperation in the digital sector.
The Ambassador thanked the colleagues from Visegrad Group for their support for the Polish Presidency in Norway and they expressed gratitude for her active implementation of the Presidency, despite the difficulties caused by the COVID -19 pandemic.
Hungarian Ambassador to Oslo, Eszter Sandorfi presented the slogan of upcoming Hungarian V4 presidency : "recharging Europe" and its priority areas: 1) coordination of V4 activities in the EU, 2) opening of economies and social issues, 3) cooperation of the V4 with other countries, 4) energy and digitization.
At the end, Ambassador I. Woicka-Żuławska handed over Ambassador Eszter Sandorfi the symbol of successive V4 presidencies in Norway.
