Concert of the Warsaw Village Band in Oslo

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland together with the Cosmopolite Scene in Oslo and PGNiG Upstream Norway would like to invite for the concert of the Warsaw Village Band. The event will take place 6 of May 2022 at 20.00 in Cosmpolite Scene in Oslo. The doors will be open from 19:00.

This year the Warsaw Village Band is celebrating its 25th anniversary. It’s one of the most original and one of the best Polish music band. The group draws inspiration from traditional folk music from Poland and combines it with modern arrangements.

As far Warsaw Village Band recorded nine albums, performed in famous arenas in 4 continents and more thant 30 countries arround the world, created games and soundtracks for films and received Grammy nominations!

Its ninth album „Waterduction” from 2020 has been well-received both in Poland and abroad - the group won the award for the best folk album of 2020 in the Polish Radio Festival – „New Tradition”, was assessed as the “Best in Europe” according to the Transglobal World Music Chart and got a first place in Music Charts Europe.
