Official inauguration of new Polish films review in Norway

On January 27, the official inauguration of the review of new Polish films in Norway took place in Cinemateket Oslo.

The review was inaugurated with a screening of the film "Filip" directed by Michał Kwieciński and preceded by official speeches by Jan Langlo, Director of the Norwegian Film Institute, charge d'affaires of the Polish Embassy in Oslo, Tomasz Orłowski, and a conversation on the circumstances of the film's creation and the behind-the-scenes of work in the film industry conducted by Kasia Mateja - documentary film's director with Michał Sobociński - the cameraman of "Filip".

After the screening, largely attended audience (all tickets were sold out!) attended the reception.

The project is implemented by Embassy of Poland / Ambasada RP w Oslo , Norwegian Film Institute/Cinemateket in cooperation with Polsk Filmfestival, We Do Festival with significant financial support from PGNiG Upstream Norway Orlen Group.

New Polish movies ("Filip" directed by M. Kwieciński, "Bread and Salt" directed by D. Kocur, "Woman on the roof" directed by A. Jadowska, "The silent twins" directed by A. Smoczyńska, "EO" directed by J. Skolimowski) are screened between January 10 till February 9, in 6 Norwegian cities: Oslo, Bergen, Lillehammer, Stavanger, Trondheim and Tromso.
