In their opening speeches, Jan Langlo - Director of Cinemateket and Ambassador Iwona Woicka - Żuławska recalled both the profile of the director and his artistic path, and emphasised the exceptional nature of the film, which focuses on the author's very moving interpretation of the relationship between humans and animals.

The Ambassador also read out a letter from Jerzy Skolimowski, addressed to the participants of the screening, in which the director referred to his good memories related to his stay in the Norwegian capital on the occasion of the promotion of one of his previous films "The Essential killing" and emphasised that the inspiration for "EO" was his great love for nature and animals.

'EO' has been selected by Cinemateket Oslo as the film of the month for June (several screenings) .
