Seminar "Future of the Arctic cooperation in the context of new geopolitical situation in the region" inspired by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo as one of the events accompanying and preceding the #HighNorthDialogue conference was held April 18, at the Stormen Library in Bodø.

Seminar - moderated by Andreas Raspotnik from the Fridtjof Nansen Institute was opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland I. Woicka - Żuławska with a short introduction, and was attended by: prof. Michał Łuszczuk and Dr. Monika Szkarłat from M. Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, prof. Aldo Pigoli from the Italian Association of International Organizations (SIOI) and the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Andreas Østhagen from the Fridtjof Nansen Institute, Ambassador Nicolas de La Grandville, Head of the European Union Delegation in Oslo and Manuel Baena Pedrosa from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain.

The topic of this lively and interactive panel was dominated by a discussion on possible scenarios for further development of the geopolitical situation in the High North in the face of growing tension in the region caused by Russia's aggression in Ukraine; during the seminar Norwegian view on further cooperation with Russia in the High North, the future of science diplomacy in times of crisis, as well as the prospect of a new Arctic policy from the point of view of the European Union, Italy or Spain were also presented.
