Coronavirus – Poland extends special measures and border restrictions

koronawirus

The decision to close Polish borders to foreigners was extended until 14th of April.

Poland decided to extend the restrictive measures on crossing the border for all foreigners. The measures introduced on 15th of March are now extended to 11th of April for all international flights and 14th of April for all land borders. All restrictions on entering Poland stay in force, including the obligatory 14 days home quarantine. The movement of goods is carried based on the same rules.

Transport of goods through the Polish border

On 15 March 2020 Poland reintroduced temporary border controls on all internal borders with the aim to slow down spread of coronavirus. Those measures must however not affect the free movement of goods on the EU’s single market.
