Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki: the Polish Deal aims to increase the quality of life of Poles

08.07.2021

We allocate resources for investments that are close to people. With the Government Fund for Local Investments, financial resources go to communes, counties, and cities and towns all across Poland. They are investments that serve local communities and involve building nurseries, kindergartens, gyms, or roads. As part of the Fund, we will provide local authorities with over PLN 13 billion.

“The main idea behind the Polish Deal is to increase the quality of life of Poles and to improve healthcare and infrastructure – wherever there are Poles,”

said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during his visit to the construction site of a gym at K.K. Baczyński Primary School in Ładzyń, Stanisławów Commune.

The Prime Minister added that the PLN 0.5 million were allocated to the Stanisławów Commune for building roads and maintaining the so-called ”Toddler” programme, which supports the development of childcare facilities for children aged up to 3.

“Poland cannot ‘undevelop’. We must ensure that it develops wherever Poles live,” stressed the head of government.

The useful floor area will be 477 m2, while the investment will cost almost PLN 2 million plus costs of owner's representative services. The construction is fully funded from the Government Fund for Local Investments.
