Agnieszka Buczyńska
née Chmielewska (born September 22, 1986 in Tczew) - Polish social activist, sociologist and politician, specialist in civil society, second vice-president and secretary general of the Poland 2050 party, member of the Sejm of the 10th term.
She graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Gdańsk and sociology from Collegium Civitas in Warsaw. In 2021, she also graduated from the MBA Leadership studies at the WSB University in Gdańsk.
Professionally associated with the environment of non-governmental organizations. In the years 2008–2014 she was vice-president, and in the period 2015–2019 she served as the president of the Regional Volunteer Center in Gdańsk.
She was a member of the Gdańsk Council of Non-Governmental Organizations, the Gdańsk Public Benefit Council and the Gdańsk Council for Seniors.
In 2021, she became a member of the Gdańsk Council for the Development of Volunteering. She was the author and originator of Gdańsk's application for the title of European Volunteering Capital, which the city held in 2022.
In the 2023 elections, she was elected a member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland of the 10th term from the Gdańsk district. Currently, she sits on the Senior Policy Committee and serves as vice-chairman of the European Union Affairs Committee.
Nominated for the title of "Personality of Pomerania 2017" in the plebiscite of "Dziennik Bałtycki". In 2019, she was awarded the Lech Bądkowski in the "Gdańsk social activist of the year" category
