The Prime Minister announced that, in accordance with the declaration made in Kiev, the first full-scale intergovernmental consultations are to be held in the second half of March. They will help to strengthen cooperation between Poland and Ukraine.

We are returning to full-scale intergovernmental consultations, the next one should take place in Warsaw in the second half of March. This is what I have agreed with Prime Minister Shmyhal and President Zelensky,
 –said the head of the Polish government.

The Polish-Ukrainian talks will cover, m.in issues, related to:

  • exports and imports;

  • construction of a motorway from the border crossing in Krakowiec to the city of Rivne;

  • the possibility of cooperation for the commercial production of modern ammunition;

  • the possibility of selling weapons or ammunition to Ukraine.

For me, it is very important to adopt such arrangements between the Polish and Ukrainian sides, so that Polish market, Polish agricultural producers, Polish farmers, are not threatened by an uncontrolled influx of agricultural products from Ukraine,
