Help for our neighbour

From the very beginning of Russian aggression on Ukraine we support our neighbour. Poland became a hub for humanitarian aid. We provide food and medicines, and we send military equipment. Today Ukraine fights not only for its own freedom, but also for freedom of the whole Europe.

• Supply of arms and financial support are crucial components – are condition of survival of Ukraine, to the victory. And victory gives us possibility to create better world –Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said.

During the conference head of Polish government emphasized importance of helping Ukraine. Our support for our neighbour may stop the Russian war machine.

• If your neighbour’s house is on fire, yours is not safe either – it should not be wisdom of Central and Eastern Europe only, it should be the knowledge of the rest of Europe – Prime Minister pointed out.

Financial support for Ukraine

The whole European Union decided on material support of Ukraine. Russia aims at the decline of Ukrainian economy, which is why funds for uninterrupted functioning of the country are so important. Our eastern neighbour can continue to function normally, only if he maintains financial liquidity.

• Ukrainian soldiers fight on the battlefields with their lion hearts, they are great. In will not be easy for Kremlin to defeat them, to win the war on the battlefield. So they might want to destabilize Ukraine by not allowing any financial help – the head of the Polish government said.
