Investments in Poland and the impact of Russian aggression on the global economy

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and representatives of the State Street Corporation discussed various issues including the priorities of Polish economic policy and the role foreign investors – particularly from the USA – would play in Poland’s economic development. We are trading partners with a long tradition of commerce and investment. Our country is the biggest recipient of American investments in Central and Eastern Europe. 

The Head of the Polish Government and the President of the State Street Corporation also discussed Russia's unprovoked armed invasion of Ukraine and its consequences for the European and global economy. Another important topic of the conversation was also aid for Ukraine from the international community, as the entire European Union had decided on giving material support to Ukraine.
