Secretary of State – Radosław Kujawa
Born on 7 May 1965 in Szczecin. Special services officer, brigadier general.
A graduate of history at the University of Wrocław.In the 1980s, he was an activist of the underground Independent Students' Association. From 1992, he served in the intelligence directorate of the Office of State Protection. Later in the counterintelligence service of the Office of Public Protection and the Internal Security Agency, m.in. as deputy director of the Counterintelligence Department, director of the Analysis Center of the Internal Security Agency and director of the Intelligence Agency.
In the years 2008-2015, Head of the Military Intelligence Service, responsible during this period, among others, for providing intelligence support to the Polish mission in Afghanistan and combating threats related to the war in Ukraine. After being dismissed from the position of Head of SWW, he was a collaborator of the Institute of the Middle and Far East of the Jagiellonian University and the Chairman of the Program Council of the Security Forum Foundation.
In 2010, he was promoted by the President of the Republic of Poland to the rank of brigadier general. He was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, the Silver Cross of Merit, the Military Cross of Merit, the Gold Medal for Merits for Home Defense, the Badge "For Merits to the World Association of Home Army Soldiers", the GROM Honorary Badge, and the "Wrocław Freedom" Badge.
On December 13, 2023, appointed as Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. On January 3, he was appointed Secretary of the College for Secret Services. He also became the representative of the Minister - Coordinator of Special Services at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
