Radosław Sikorski

Lecturer (Senior Fellow) at the Center for European Studies at Harvard University and expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington.
Former Minister of Defense (2005-2007), Minister of Foreign Affairs (2007-2014) and Speaker of the Sejm (2014-2015).

War reporter in Afghanistan and Angola (1986-1989). In 2002-2005, he was a resident member of the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C., and executive director of the New Atlantic Initiative.

Together with Carl Bildt, he initiated the EU Eastern Partnership. Originator of the creation of the European Endowment for Democracy and the Solidarity Prize.

In 2014, he led an EU mission to Kiev, which stopped the bloodshed on the Maidan.
Selected among the Top 100 Global Thinkers by Foreign Policy magazine "for speaking the truth, even if it is not diplomatic."
