Sławomir Nitras
Born on April 26, 1973 in Połczyn-Zdrój. Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland of the 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th and 10th terms. He served as a member of the European Parliament of the 7th term, and in 2009–2014, chief advisor to Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz.
In 1998, he graduated in political science from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Szczecin. In 1997-1998 he worked as an assistant at the Institute of Political Science and Philosophy of the USSR. From 1998 to 1999, he was the director of the Koszalin Voivode's office. In the years 1998-2002 he was a councilor of the West Pomeranian assembly. He also ran a private business for three years.
He has been a member of the Civic Platform since 2001.
He is the originator and one of the organizers of the largest socio-political festival in Europe, Campus Poland of the Future. In 2023, he was responsible for the largest Citizens' Election Control initiative in Poland's history, which brought together over 65,000 people.
He has been married to Irmina for 24 years. Father of two adult daughters - Natalia and Kornelia.
