It is with deep sorrow that we have learned of the tragic earthquake that struck Japan’s Noto Peninsula leaving many casualties.

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its deep condolences to the victims’ families and all people of Japan. Poland is full of admiration for the steadfast spirit of Japanese society as it responds to the disaster and for the involvement of thousands of people who are helping those affected.

We extend our solidarity with Japan at this difficult time.
