In October, 796 thousand unemployed people were registered in labour offices, i.e. 5.7 thousand fewer than in September. This is a result that we have not seen in more than three decades. “This data confirms the effectiveness of our actions” – stressed Marlena Maląg, Minister of Family and Social Policy.

People deprived of shelter in the autumn and winter are exposed to the loss of health or life due to hypothermia. For those who live in public spaces and non-residential places, a significant drop in temperature and snowfall are a deadly threat.

The government has adopted a draft amendment to the Act on Counteracting Domestic Violence. What does this mean in practice? The autumn edition of Congress 590 took place on 17-18 November in Rzeszów, within the walls of the local university. The second day of the event was opened by a debate with the participation of Marlena Maląg, Minister of Family and Social Policy. The discussion was devoted to the family policy in the era of inflation, and the participants of the debate responded to the question whether it is worth investing in the family?

According to the preliminary data of the Ministry of Family and Social Policy, the October registered unemployment rate was 5.1 percent. Compared to the previous month, the number of job seekers fell by 4.2 thousand and amounted to 797.5 thousand.

The 8th reporting and election session of the Civic Seniors’ Parliament took place in the building of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. It was attended by Minister Marlena Maląg.

According to Eurostat in September this year, the unemployment rate was 2.6 percent. The same result was recorded a month earlier. – This means that we are again ranked 2nd in the European Union in terms of the lowest level of unemployment – says Marlena Maląg, Minister of Family and Social Policy.
