Central Research Laboratory
The scope of the CRL activities includes:
- monitoring the quality of surface water, air, the intensity of traffic and aviation noise, electromagnetic fields,
- tests and control measurements for the assessment of emissions of pollutants into the air, water, land from entities conducting economic activity,
- research related to major accidents.
As part of the above activities, the CRL performs:
- sampling of water, wastewater, sludge, waste, bottom material, soil, air and waste gases,
- physico-chemical, biological and parasitological analyses in environmental samples,
- microbiological and hydrobiological analyses in surface waters,
- measurements of atmospheric air pollution
- measurements of waste gas emissions into the air,
- industrial, impulsive, traffic and aircraft noise measurements,
- electromagnetic field measurements,
- determination of the sulphur content of fuels.
