06.07.2023Summary of the activities of Justyna Orlowska in her role as Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Education and Science for Digital TransformationMinister Przemysław Czarnek and the Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Education and Science for Digital Transformation, Justyna Orłowska, summarised the most important digitalisation activities carried out in cooperation between Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland and the GovTech Centre. These include: Future Labs, Mobile Future Labs, Games in Education, the Atoms of Knowledge and League of Robots programmes, as well as the establishment of the AI in Education working group. Currently in process, new projects are: Virtual Future Labs, the introduction of the subject Business and Management and the launch of the portal edukacja.gov.pl.

22.06.2023Celebrating 5 years of GovTech PolandThis week we ceremoniously summed up the round anniversary of GovTech Poland. The event was inaugurated by Justyna Orlowska, Plenipotentiary of the Prime Minister for GovTech and Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Education and Science for Digital Transformation, and attended by Marshal of the Sejm Ryszard Terlecki, Vice Marshal of the Senate Marek Pęk, Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek, Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister Marek Kuchciński, as well as other ministers, partners of our projects, representatives of the state, private sectors and non-governmental institutions.

21.06.2023We know the winners of Hack2React as part of the Programme Cities with GovTech by PFR projectOn 16-18 June, the Hack2React hackathon organised by the GovTech Centre and the Polish Development Fund took place as part of the Programme Cities with GovTech by PFR project. Teams spent the June weekend at the Games Hall of the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw. City and business mentors were at their disposal, and they could also get programming and UX support. In preparation for the final presentation, participants listened to interactive presentations on the principles of good pitching and urban foresight. Take a look at the descriptions of the winning solutions in the categories: wellbeing of citizens, spatial management, crisis management, and climate change.
