The event is organized by the Ministry of Infrastructure within the Polish Presidency of the EU Council.

The international conference A new era of European Transport – challenges of the TEN-T policy in Łódź will serve as a platform for a broad discussion on European transport policy, based on the renewed TEN-T network, whose shape is defined by the new Regulation 2024/1679 on EU guidelines for the development of the Trans-European Transport network.

This event will offer an opportunity to summarize the revision process of the TEN-T network completed in 2024 and create a forum for the exchange of views and insights from various international sectors on the future development of the European transport sector, its global connections, resilience-building across various aspects, and the importance of transport infrastructure for dual use civil-military purposes.

A significant part of the event will be a debate on the future and effectiveness of transport financing in the upcoming EU Multiannual Financial Framework post-2027. The conclusions from the Conference will guide the ongoing debate on the EU transport policy development.
