Certifying a copy
Where to apply?
You can have a copy of your document certified in a Polish consular post of your choice.
Do I have to apply in person?
Documents can be submitted in person or sent by post.
How to book an appointment?
You can book your appointment via the e-konsulat system.
What documents do I need to submit?
You will need the document and a copy of it.
Please note:
If the copy is to be made by the consul, the consular fee will be higher.
How much does it cost?
The fee for certifying a copy is referred to in item 6.03 of the Consular Fees Table. From 1 January 2024, the fee is 338 NOK.
The fee for making a copy and certifying a copy of a document is referred to in item 6.02 of the Consular Fees Table. From 1 January 2024, the fee is 675 NOK.
You should pay the fee in cash, during your visit in our office. If you send the application by post, you should pay by bank transfer.
The fees applie to a certified copy of a document and is not based on the number of pages.
What is the waiting time?
The consul will process the case without undue delay but not later than within 30 days from the application date.
How to collect the documents?
In person. You can also request to have them delivered to you by post if you will cover the postage costs.
How to appeal?
In the event of refusal, the consul will issue a decision against which you can lodge a complaint with the Minister of Foreign Affairs within 7 days. The complaint is lodged via the consul who issued the decision.
