I have the pleasure to inform you that the Minister of Science and Higher Education,
in the announcement of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of 1 December 2021
on the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences,
awarded the "Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection" bulletin
a score of 40 in the following scientific disciplines:
- Security sciences;
- Physical sciences;
- Chemical sciences;
- Legal sciences; and
- Medical sciences.
The information about the score is to be found on p. 2035 of the ministerial list.
Bulletin information
The Nuclear Safety and Radiological Protection newsletter is a scientific journal published since 1989. It is the leading national journal in the field of nuclear safety and radiological protection.
The original articles published in it concern the issues of supervision of facilities and activities that may pose a threat to ionizing radiation for human health, methods of protection against such threats, as well as international regulatory cooperation and the use of international experience, in particular in the field of ensuring and controlling the safety of nuclear power plants.
From issue 3-4 / 2020, the bulletin is a peer-reviewed journal. The texts published in the bulletin are subject to a publishing review carried out by independent reviewers appointed by the editorial office.

Additional information
The journal has been available free of charge since 2000.
Until 2013, the bulletin was printed and distributed among people and institutions interested in the issues of safety supervision of facilities and activities that could cause exposure to ionizing radiation.
Since 2014, the newsletter has been published only in an electronic version.
