Georgia
Georgia was put on the list of priority recipients of Poland’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) in 2004.
Polish development assistance for Georgia supports instruments of social policy regarding persons with disabilities, as well as victims of domestic violence.
We help to develop national and regional crisis management systems by creating a training system for firefighters, as well as establishing voluntary mountain rescue services.
At the same time, Poland has been engaged in the development of Georgian pre-school and inclusive education.
Actions are taken for the development and economic promotion of selected Georgian regions, including initiatives aimed at reviving tourism.
Young Georgian citizens have the opportunity to study in our country under Polish scholarship programmes.
