Myanmar
Myanmar was listed as a priority country of Polish development assistance in 2016-2020.
Poland supported projects that focused on enhancing the quality of health care for mothers and children as well as improving the conditions of and access to high-quality schooling at all levels of education.
Polish Aid was also aimed at social integration of persons from groups at risk of exclusion, and increased access to social services for this group of beneficiaries.
Thanks to the Stefan Banach scholarship programme (the Ignacy Łukasiewicz scholarship programme till 2020), young Myanmar people can undertake their MA studies in Poland.
