Four ministers to be replacedPrime Minister Donald Tusk has accepted the resignations of four ministers who will run for seats in the upcoming European Parliament elections. The list includes Marcin Kierwiński, Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, Borys Budka and Krzysztof Hetman. Mr. Tusk also appointed the new ministers to replace them, namely Tomasz Siemoniak, Hanna Wróblewska, Jakub Jaworowski, and Krzysztof Paszyk. The official appointment of the new ministers will take place on Monday at the Presidential Palace.

26.04.2024A secure Poland in a secure EuropePrime Minister Donald Tusk attended a total of 27 meetings with the leaders of European countries and institutions over the course of three months. The first capital visited by the Prime Minister was Kyiv. The visit took place on 22 January. Other meetings were held in Brussels, Berlin, Paris, Vilnius, Prague and Washington, as well as many other cities. All of them had one shared purpose - ensuring security and making all the leaders realise the importance of continuing extensive support to the struggling Ukraine. The visits were reciprocated - heads of states and institutions visited Warsaw 16 times to date.

That is why the latest aid package approved by the Council of Ministers envisages subsidies per tonne of grain. Requests can be submitted until 5 June 2024. The trilateral meeting was held at the headquarters of the 1st Warsaw Armoured Brigade. The talks focused on security and cooperation within the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. After a face-to-face meeting with the British Prime Minister, Mr. Tusk stated that the cooperation between the countries could serve as an example for other partners in Europe.

On Sunday, in more than 700 locations across the country, the second round of voting for mayors took place. Prime Minister Donald Tusk speaks of a collective victory for the Civic Coalition and the October 15 Coalition. Head of the government congratulated all those who stood for these elections, won against their competitor and were elected to lead Poland’s municipalities, cities and towns.
