Ambassador Adam Burakowski presents his credentials in South Africa

On October 4, 2023, Ambassador Adam Burakowski presented his credentials to the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa. The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland was ceremoniously welcomed by the South African Honour Guard. The ceremonial presentation of credentials took place in Pretoria in the Audience Hall of the Sefako Makgatho, the Government Building.
Poland was the first Central European country to re-establish diplomatic contacts with the Republic of South Africa in 1991, and since then bilateral relations between both countries, especially in the field of trade, agriculture and tourism, as well as scientific and technical cooperation, have been developing dynamically.
