On 25 February 2025, the Senate hosted a conference named “Three-year mark of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine,” organised by the National Defence Committee in cooperation with the Community of Democracies and attended by Undersecretary of State Anna Radwan-Röhrenschef.
The attendees spoke about the military and humanitarian aid extended by Poland over the past three years as well as about Europe’s experiences and lessons it should learn to build European security and the EU’s global standing. “We are now faced with new dynamics which give hope that we could see the conflict end. Every Ukrainian would like to see this happen as soon as possible. However, what is more important for the sake of Ukraine and its people is to make this happen under appropriate conditions. The conditions are as follows: both Ukraine and Europe must sit at the negotiating table. Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine and nothing about Europe without Europe. Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty must be preserved, a just and lasting peace and security in Ukraine must be guaranteed, Ukraine must be given trustworthy guarantees that it will not be reattacked, and favourable circumstances must be ensured for the country’s growth, modernisation, and reconstruction. We will continue to support Ukraine as long as it takes and make sure that no decisions about this country are made without it. Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine,” said Deputy Minister Radwan-Röhrenschef.
