.During the conference at the Embassy, Dr. Mills gave a lecture on the above-mentioned topic in which he shared his experiences and thoughts on the war in Ukraine, and considered various options for ending the war. Dr. Mills emphasized that anyone who knows Ukraine, will know that Ukrainians will never agree to Russian domination. Regardless of local ills and problems, Ukrainians have united as never before in the last thirty years since regaining their independence. Dr. Mills also quoted the statements by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the Mayor of Kiev, Vitaly Klitschko, that the ongoing war is not a war of two armies, but a war of two worldviews. Ukrainians are fighting not only for their country and citizens, but also defend their values and principles with unprecedented determination.

During the conference, the exhibition “Mom, I don't want war. 1939-1945 Poland, 2022 Ukraine ". The Polish-Ukrainian archival project presents incredibly moving testimonies of war – from historical drawings of Polish children from 1946, which are a record of their experiences during World War II and the German occupation of 1939-1945, preserved in the Central Archives of Modern Records (AAN) in Warsaw, in the Ministry of Education from the years 1945–1966 and contemporary drawings of Ukrainian children, related to the war currently taking place in Ukraine and collected on the “Mom I see war” portal. The creators of the exhibition want to show that war always looks the same in the eyes of a child. Irrespective of the place and time, it is a great evil, and the child is always a victim in it.
