Inauguration of the 2023/2024 school year at the Polish School in Pretoria

The school operates as part of the Centre for the Development of Polish Education Abroad and is one of 70 educational institutions in the world providing free education to children of Polish citizens living outside Poland.
Students receive textbooks and exercise books, as well as school IDs entitling them to statutory discounts for students in Poland. The school implements a supplementary teaching program in the field of early school education (grades 1-3), Polish language and knowledge about Poland (grades 4-8), and has a library with the latest books for students.
Classes are conducted in Polish by experienced teachers and take place one weekend a month in the Embassy building.
At the end of the school year, students receive state school certificates in accordance with the requirements specified in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Science.
Dates of classes in the 2023/24 school year:
1st semester: September 16 and 17, October 21 and 22; November 18 and 19; December 2, January 20 and 21
2nd semester: February 17 and 18, March 16 and 17, April 13, May 11 and 12, June 1 and 2
