NAWA has announced the recruitment for the gen. Władysław Anders scholarship program

The gen. Władysław Anders scholarship program for the Polish diaspora is addressed to foreigners of Polish origin - nationals of: Belarus, Bulgaria, Czechia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Rumania, Slovakia, Hungary, countries of former Yugoslavia, Ukraine, Russia and countries of Central Asia and Caucasus, Latin America and Africa. The program enables young people of Polish origin and holders of the Card of the Pole (Karta Polaka) to study in Poland (full-time programs, in the Polish language) in higher education institutions supervised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Foreigners who have documented their Polish origin and holders of the Card of the Pole (Karta Polaka - holders of Karta Polaka does not need to document their Polish origin) are eligible to start their I and II degree studies as well as single master degree studies– in case of I degree studies and master degree studies, they may undertake their studies 2 years after the matriculation exam at the latest, and in case of II degree studies – two years after the completion of I degree studies at the latest and they cannot be older than 26.

Approved candidates may participate in one-year preparatory course before the beginning of their studies. Candidates are selected on the basis of the calls for proposals announced on annual basis.

The call for proposals will be conducted via the NAWA ICT system (link: https://programs.nawa.gov.pl/login ) until March 16, 2020, 15:00 (Polish time).

The purpose of the scholarship program is to enable young people of Polish descent (who do not have Polish citizenship) to study in Poland and improve their knowledge of the Polish language. The program also contributes to the promotion of Poland as a country with attractive educational and scientific opportunities, and to strengthen the level of qualifications in Polish communities abroad.

The gen. Władysław Anders Scholarship Program has been recognized for years in Polish communities The program attracts a large number of candidates every year. Since 2020, the Agency has been expanding its geographical scope, enabling candidates of Polish origin from around the world to receive a scholarship to study in Poland.
