Polish Association Vaal Triangle celebrates its 40th anniversary

The representatives of the Polish community from Vanderbijlpark celebrated on Sunday, November 19, 2022, the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Polish Association Vaal Triangle. The celebrations gave an opportunity to recall and remind the activities of organizations and Poles living in the Vaal valley.

The events and timeline of the Association were presented at a specially prepared exhibition documenting the most interesting elements of the Association activities. The President of the Polish Association Vaal Triangle, Ryszard Skoczyński mentioned the achievements, actions and successes of the Association, which were many over the years.

The celebrations were crowned with a formal ball organized at the Emerald Hotel in Vanderbijlpark. The event was attended by over 70 members of ZPVT, Polonia from Vanderbijlpark. The President of the Association of Siberians in South Africa, Stefan Szewczuk, and the President of the Polish Association in Johannesburg, Magdalena Liberda, also came to Vanderbijlpark as guests.

The celebrations were attended by Consul Michał Gierwatowski with his wife, who wished the President of the Association, the Management Board and all its members wishes for more jubilees and a friendly atmosphere that unites the Polish community in Vanderbijlpark.
