The end of the 2020/21 school year in Pretoria, South Africa

An end-of-school event was organized at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Pretoria on June 6, 2021 with the participation of Mr. Michał Gierwatowski, Consul of the Republic of Poland.
The head of the school, Ms Lidia Moń, welcomed the guests and summed up the past school year, and then read the letter received from Ms Anna Aleksandra Radecka, Director of the Center for the Development of Polish Education Abroad, addressed to teachers, students and parents.
Students in grades 1-6 were promoted to higher grades. Five students graduated from grade 8 this year and left our school.
Ms. Beata Kozłowska handed out the certificates and book awards to students in grades 1-2, and Ms. Magdalena Górna handed out certificates and awards to students in grades 4-8.
Consul Michał Gierwatowski handed over the book awards to:
- Ewa and Barbara Kopieniak for 100% attendance in the school year 2021/21,
- Jan Knowski, Ewa and Barbara Kopieniak for achieving high results in reading,
- Gabriella Bennett for exemplary performance of the president of the Student Council.
After the ceremony, there were games and activities organized for the students, and the Parents' Council organized refreshments for all the participants.
Congratulations to all students, and we wish our graduates further success!
The school operates within a framework of the Center for the Development of Polish Education Abroad and implements a complementary curriculum in the field of early childhood education, Polish language and knowledge about Poland. Education in our school is free. We provide textbooks and other teaching aids for students.
We are still registering for the 2021/22 school year.
