The biographical exhibition consists of 13 boards with texts and iconography, coming primarily from the Museum's collections. It presents the composer, his life and work.
Fryderyk Chopin was born in Żelazowa Wola on March 1 (or February 22), 1810. Fryderyk Chopin's work focused primarily on piano music. Chopin combined innovation with the continuation of the tradition of classicism and a universal attitude with attachment to native Polish culture. The essence of Chopin's music was improvisation – often presented during musical evenings in salons before intimate audiences. Chopin influenced the entire perception of piano music in the 19th century, and his unique style placed him among the most highly regarded and best-known composers of all time.
