The festival was organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dar es Salaam.

This year, the artists presented the BABWE project – music inspired by the cultures of the Haya people (from the western regions of Lake Victoria), the Zalamu (coastal areas near Dar es Salaam), as well as the Digo, Matumbi, and Yao minorities. Abdrahamane Niang, a drummer from Mali, was a special guest of the event.

The opening concert of the festival was held on December 5 at the Goethe Institut in Dar es Salaam. In addition to Radek "Bond" Bednarz's original project, the stage featured the musically talented Zawose family from Bagamoyo, as well as the Wamwiduka band from the Mbeya region. The audience included members of the Polish community, diplomatic corps representatives, African music enthusiasts from around the world, and staff from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dar es Salaam.

On December 6-7 the artists moved on to Zanzibar, where they performed for a wide audience in Matemwe and Jambiani. The festival concluded on December 8 in Stone Town with a concert at the occasion of a Christmas and New Year’s meeting organized by the Consul of the Republic of Poland Wojciech Łysak for the Polish community in Zanzibar.
