Ambassador Buzalski at the inauguration of a modern laboratory at the Livestock Training Agency in Tengeru
06.12.2020
Polish experience in the field of modernization of the livestock sector may be particularly useful for Tanzania due to the similarities between the two countries. In Poland, which has successfully undergone the process of economic transformation in the last thirty years, we understand the challenges posed by it - said Ambassador Krzysztof Buzalski during the inauguration of a modern laboratory launched at the Livestock Training Agency (LITA) in Tengeru near Arusza on December 1, 2020.
The Secretary of State, Professor Elisante Ole Gabriel, who heads the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries of Tanzania, also took part in the ceremony.
The project, aimed at building Tanzania's operational capacity in the field of animal husbandry thanks to Polish modern technologies, is implemented by the polish Science for Development Foundation and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences with the funds of Polish Aid. It is part of the development cooperation between both countries based on the one hand on the transfer of Polish experiences in the modernization of agriculture and breeding, and on the other - the use of technologies and products of our enterprises, such as Opta-Tech, which was a producer of modern laboratory equipment for LITA.
