On January 29, 2020, Ambassador Krzysztof Buzalski inaugurated the delivery ward at the St. Walburg's Hospital in Nyangao in Lindi region of Tanzania.

The construction of the ward was part of a project to support medical care in this region implemented by the Polish Medical Mission and financed from Polish Aid funds managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. Development cooperation with this health center, currently the best in the region, began in 2007. Its goal is to improve access to health care for local people in the underdeveloped regions of Mtwara and Lindi, where patients travel up to 250 kilometers, knowing that they will receive the best medical care in the region.
